The purpose of this society was to bring the gnomes together in brotherhood, uniting families that had been feuding since the race began. There would be two specializations in this society, that of tinkering and that of scrying. The tinkering gnomes would go on to create great inventions for the race, even though they had their humble beginnings. At first, the most they could invent were toys. But a few leaders rose up out of this and decided the gnomes should work on one great, ultimate invention. Today, there are so many blueprints that the original idea of the invention has been lost to time and careless scribbles, but the tinkers are still dedicated to finally putting the pieces together and solving the greatest puzzle of all time.

The Tinkerer Gnome has one thing on his mind from day up to the day down, and that is his inventions, It could be a new idea the gnome is still trying to work out or an old invention that the gnome is trying to tweak to make better. The Tinkerer Gnome has devoted his life to makeing the gnomish society a technoligical super power. But of course most of the time the greatest of gnome inventions come from unexpected results of other inventions. Many Tinker gnomes have given their lives in persuit of great Inventions.

Brass Whatsit-
This item was obviously invented by some crazed gnome. It appears to be a little brass box, with a latch on the front of it. The top is etched with small blueprints, as if the inventor finished the design while creating it.

Gnomish Slingshot-
This toy is, in essence, a Y-shaped piece of metal with an elastic strip the width of a gnome's thumb loosely situated between the two top points of the Y. However, there is an infinite number of gears and gizmos that help the wielder of this seemingly innocent toy aim at a target, calculate projection and velocity, and several other things that might make a harmless pebble suddenly become a minute missile when fired at an unsuspecting target.
It appears to have something written on it.

Marvelous Toy-
This is a marvelous toy invented by some ingenius gnome tinker. It is spherical in shape, and has a string on the top that you could probably pull. It is painted all sorts of brilliant colors which reflect the light, causing it to almost glow.
